CEDAR PARK, Texas, January 19, 2010 – ETS-Lindgren celebrated the Grand Opening of its new office in Bengaluru, India (ETS-Lindgren Engineering India Private Limited). Bruce Butler, President of ETS-Lindgren, gave a welcome address and introduced the local ETS-Lindgren staff that will provide technical, project management, installation and system integration expertise to customers of the company’s EMC, RF Microwave, Wireless, MRI medical and Acoustic product lines.
“We are gratified by the attendance at our grand opening. We organized this event to invite local customers and industry leaders to hear about our vision for expanding our services in India and to meet our capable and friendly staff,” said Mark Mawdsley, Managing Director of Asia Operations for ETS-Lindgren. He added, “We also shared our interest in working closer with our customers in providing solutions to their individual test and measurement requirements. Our goal is to develop a long-term partnership with our customers in India as we’ve done in other areas of the world. Opening this new office is a big help towards meeting this goal.”
Joe Sivaswamy, based at the company’s headquarters in Cedar Park, Texas, is the General Manager of the India operation. Mr. Sivaswamy has an extensive background in the EMC systems business and experience working with customers in India. “I look forward to working with our team of experts in the Bengaluru office and to actively supporting our customers on their exciting new projects,” said Mr. Sivaswamy.
Complus Systems, ETS-Lindgren’s local distributor, will continue in the support of the company and its customers, in India.
The Bengaluru office becomes the latest addition to the growing list of ETS-Lindgren locations around the world including Singapore, China, Taiwan, Japan, Finland, France, the UK, and the USA.
